Hunter Adams Head of Executive Search, Eilidh Robertson was keen to discuss this latest book with her, and over the coming weeks we'll be sharing these discussions as they chat about Lindsay's book chapter by chapter. Refresh and research what you need to know before you start your new job and planning your start helps make it seamless. Everyone wants to hit the ground running when they start a new role - a great aspiration, but have you considered what you need to know in order to do this? Of course you'll have done your initial research prior to interview, but now you need to think about the 'who's who', the 'what's what' and the 'where and when'. Oh, and don't forget to familiarise yourself with the IT and tech you'll be using day to day. And then on to planning - the old saying 'fail to plan, plan to fail' applies!
